Roles and Permissions
mFoundry uses four built-in roles. Assign the most restrictive role that still lets each person do their job.- Owner — full control over the organization, including billing and deleting the org itself. Every organization must retain at least one Owner at all times.
- Admin — can manage projects, workflows, integrations, and team membership, but cannot access billing or delete the organization.
- Member — can create and edit workflows within projects they have been added to, but cannot invite others or change project settings.
- Viewer — read-only access to projects and workflows they have been granted visibility on; cannot make any changes.

Changing Roles
Owners and admins can reassign any member’s role at any time without interrupting their access to existing work. Navigate to Settings > Team, find the member you want to update, and click the role badge next to their name. Select the new role from the dropdown and confirm the change — it takes effect immediately. The member does not need to log out or take any action. If you are demoting someone from Admin to Member or Viewer, review which projects they own or manage first to avoid leaving any projects without an active administrator.Removing Members
To remove someone from your organization, go to Settings > Team, click the ⋯ menu next to their name, and select Remove Member. Confirm the action in the dialog that appears. When you remove a member:- They immediately lose access to all projects and workflows in your organization.
- Any workflows, tasks, or comments they created remain intact and are reassigned to unowned status — no work is deleted.
- If they were the sole contributor to a private project, an Owner or Admin must manually reassign ownership of that project.
